Lake Shumarinai
Shumarinai lake is the oldest man-made lake in Japan. The landscape here is so unique that it’s almost like being in another land. Iridescent Japanese huchen and white-speckled char swim here. Peak fishing season is from late spring to early summer, and also in the fall. Many anglers have luck using lures and flies here.
